Simoco appoints Stephen Beeching as Group Chief Executive Officer

Experienced technology and communications executive joins Simoco to lead the Group through its next phase of growth and development

Simoco, a global provider of mission-critical communications solutions, has appointed Stephen Beeching as its new Group Chief Executive Officer.

Stephen Beeching joined Simoco on 1 October 2026, bringing extensive senior leadership experience across international telecommunications and technology businesses, with a background spanning complex communications, satellite, defence, security and critical infrastructure.

Prior to joining Simoco, Stephen served as SVP and Managing Director EMEA at Domo Tactical Communications. His previous leadership positions have included SVP Government Systems and Critical Infrastructure at Arqit and UK Managing Director at Viasat. He also spent nearly a decade at Cobham, where his responsibilities included commercial strategy, business development, portfolio development and international P&L leadership.

His experience closely aligns with Simoco’s continued evolution as a mission-critical communications business, combining established communications technologies with next-generation connectivity and integrated solutions.

Simoco provides communications solutions across public safety and first responders, critical infrastructure including utilities and mining, transport, government, defence, councils and the private sector. The Group’s strategy centres on delivering the required customer communications outcomes across traditional and next-generation technologies while ensuring reliability, security and operational resilience required by the changing environmental demands.
